I was incredibly lucky in being able to go to the Salon International de l'Auto, Palexpo, Geneva for the press day.
2015 saw the unveiling of:
McLaren P1 GTR,
Koenigsegg Regera,
Koenigsegg Agera RS,
McLaren 675LT,
Audi R8 e-tron and latest V10 Plus,
Lamborghini Aventador SV,
Porsche Cayman GT4 & 911 GT3 RS,
Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6,
Mercedes AMG-GT3,
Ferrari 488 GTB,
AWD Ford Focus RS plus many more...
Now everyone instantly asked "What was your favourite?" Well. That's a tough one, but I think I'd say the Koenigsegg Agera RS. It was just incredible. The shape, the carbon, it was beautiful!!
My opinion changed a lot on the Lamborghini Aventador SV though, once I'd seen it in the flesh.
I became a fan of the shape and look of it.
I still just couldn't like the new Audi R8 as much as I wanted to! I liked the unique bubbly Audi shape but that's disappearing. It's all so square. But I will say... the e-tron wasn't too bad! I think it's the front, the carbon vent. Stunning!
I really enjoyed seeing the Glickenhaus SCG-003 - it looked like it could easily be Batman's next Batmobile!
The Spano GT was another of the smaller manufacturers I really enjoyed seeing. That car looked amazing, the white & carbon was a great contrast.
