'Modifications under the bonnets on some of these beauties, make them real beasts' - Battalion30five

Battalion30five.

Such an awesome bunch of people, stunning cars and true passion & knowledge of the cars within the group.
We met up near Canary Wharf and had some quick pics in the underground car park. Surrounded by 25 cars could seem daunting to shoot on your own, but I tell you what, I wasn't complaining!!
Ranging from cars wrapped Lime Green by Yiannimize, to Goldy (funnily enough, that's the Gold one in the pic!) to full carbon bodies and Akrapovic wrapped R35's.. it was a stunning combo!

We left this car park to head to Pall Mall for some pics with the Queen.. well, not exactly but outside her house! Anyway, Pall Mall was shut so we went to another car park in Kensington.

I love this bit, leaning over getting these angles...

I just love these cars! I don't know what it is about them, but they're just incredible!
The modifications under the bonnets on some of these beauties, make them real beasts!!
Ranging from Akrapovic exhausts to Litchfield maps & upgrades to custom parts and upgrades, they're all fantastic.

It was pretty epic... unfortunately weather wasn't great. Hoping the next shoot with this lovely lot has some better weather! Especially as it sounds SO cool. That'll be up soon after it's been done.

Battalion30five GTR London Meet

Hey!!

I'm going to do a post about the time I was surrounded by around 30 odd GTR's! Sounds horrific, right? ;)

I had a message from a guy called Max a while ago asking if I wanted to shoot a few GTR's, this sounded awesome, as I have a real soft spot for these Japanese masterpieces. Max was from a well known GTR owners club, Battalion30five.
We had had some plans about doing a shoot for a while, yet it just never seemed to go to plan unfortunately.

Anyway... I had a phone call asking if I fancied doing a shoot with some GTR's. Well I had a shoot during the day, but like hell was I going to miss this opportunity again!!

The plan was to use some areas around Canary Wharf, then head off on a cruise via the City and out on a little run to some tunnels.

I arrived around 5 minutes early, prepped my gear and waited. I didn't know how many to expect as numbers for meets can drop or increase considerably.
A couple of stunning R35's appeared. As I was snapping these beasts, a whole queue of GTR's showed up in sweet symphony with their howling modified exhausts!!

As everyone gathered it was obvious this meeting place was no way near capable of holding everyone. We were lucky enough to be able to head upstairs to a car park, this provided a fab location for some shots!

As time ran out on using the car park, it was time to head into the city! Now this was absolutely insane to see!! I had a friend in my car filming all the antics so I was sandwiched as a sort of "R35 Support/Media Vehicle" in amongst all these modified beauties!
There were crowds of people gathering on the bridges above Embankment having a look, people in their cars, passers by... it was insane!

We reached a location I'd ALWAYS wanted to use, but it's a tough one to use due to police restrictions and safety... Pall Mall!

I didn't follow this lovely lot through the tunnels to their final destination as I'd of shown them all up... and when I say that, I mean I'd of never kept up ;)

I want to say thank you so much to the fab members for being so kind and for allowing me to take photos of their pride and joys! It was a great evening and such an amazing site to see!

Thank you Battalion30five.

Oakley Design Lamborghini Huracan LP680-4

I've been very lucky in being allowed to see this car up close numerous times and being able to shoot it too, so figured I'd post some pics and info about it.

The guys at Oakley Design do fantastic work in modifying supercars cosmetically as well as enhancing the cars performance. I think the most well known type of car they modify has to be the Lamborghini Aventador. So it came as no surprise to find Oakley Design were taking on modifying the Lamborghini Huracan.

Here's when they took the freshly delivered Lambo to JF Automotive to do a dyno run.

This was done so they could see what they were working with, before cracking on with modifying under the bonnet!
As the weeks passed I was sent progress pics to upload to instagram which got people interested in how the finished product would look, especially as more companies were starting to release their images/renderings of the Huracan.

These centre locks look AMAZING when they're fitted on to the ADV.1 wheels used.

Well here's how the car has ended up looking, shot whilst on a wind tunnel testing trip to Mira!

Not only does this car now look stunning! The performance has improved considerably...

BHP - 688
TORQUE - 683
0 - 60 - 2.5sec
TOP SPEED - 215mph
WEIGH REDUCTION - 107kg
AERO DOWNFORCE +24% @ 150mph

It sounds beautiful too due to the full Titanium Oakley Exhaust.

I've genuinely fallen in love with this car! I'm now awaiting a Euromillions win so I can purchase one ;)
